In the jointly organized seminar by the Smoke-Free Industry Association and the Latvian Association of Traders, focusing on the latest amendments in the Tobacco Law regarding the regulation of smoke-free products (heated tobacco, nicotine pouches, electronic cigarettes) participated the Ministry of Health and key regulatory bodies, including the Health Inspectorate, the State Revenue Service, as well as the Consumer Rights Protection Center and representatives from state and municipal police.
The primary aim of the seminar was to present and discuss the most recent changes in legislation, various transitional provisions, and other relevant issues.
